Behaviour and Safety
"The behaviour of pupils is outstanding. Pupils on the wards quickly become interested in learning new things and practising their skills. Longer-stay pupils have excellent attitudes to their learning. They work on individualised activities for long periods, with and without support, and maintain a high standard of mature and cooperative behaviour. This has a significant impact on their good achievement."
We have worked to establish an environment where young people feel secure enough to communicate their worries or distress, and we support them as they then address and resolve their anxieties. We encourage them to take responsibility for their own thoughts and feelings and to take opportunities to support others wherever possible. Our Code of Conduct asks pupils to cooperate, contribute and be considerate and is attached below.
