Safeguarding

"The arrangements for safeguarding are effective. Leaders develop strong partnerships within the hospital and with external partners. These help to keep pupils safe. Pupils get the right help if there are concerns about their well-being. Leaders identify risks, seek advice and follow up quickly.
All school staff meet at the start of the day to share information. They reflect on pupils’ needs and agree on actions to support pupils. School leaders also meet daily with medical professionals on the wards in the ‘safeguarding huddle’. This ensures that everyone works together in the best interests of the child. Leaders have created a strong culture of safeguarding."
OFSTED 2019

The school adheres to the London Child Protection Procedures, adopted by Camden Children, Schools and Families. School staff have a responsibility to report concerns to a designated senior manager, who will take an appropriate course of action to ensure a pupil’s safety and well-being.
